On certain Toyota Tacoma pickup trucks, the seal between the Center High-Mounted Stop Lamp and the vehicle's body can deteriorate over time. If this seal does deteriorate, water from outside of your vehicle can leak through the deteriorated seal, getting into your Toyota Tacoma's cabin.

What Is the Remedy for This Problem?

When you come to Berglund Toyota for this service, our technicians will inspect the headliner to see if water has leaked into your truck's cabin. If there has been no leak, our technicians will install a Center High-Mounted Stop Lamp repair kit at no charge to you. They will still install this repair kit if there has been a leak; however, in case of a leak, they will also clean or replace any interior components that have been damaged by the leak. Again, this will be done at no charge to you.

How Long Will the Limited Service Campaign Be Available?

Because this is a Limited Service Campaign, it will not be available indefinitely like safety recalls are. If your truck has been affected, you will have until April 30, 2025, to have this service performed at an authorized Toyota dealership. If you have this problem repaired after this date, it will no longer be free of charge.
