It also includes black mirror caps and black rear spoilers. In addition to the refreshed appearance package, the Camry adds a new exterior color option to the lineup - Blue Reservoir.

A Look into the Past of the Toyota Camry

The Toyota Camry was initially launched into the American market in 1983. The first generation Camry was offered in hatchback and sedan configurations. The earliest iteration of the Camry would technically be classified as a compact vehicle in today's market, as the Japanese automaker was focused on producing smaller, more fuel efficient vehicles following the gas crisis of the 1970s.

The Camry would remain in a more compact-like size until 1992 when Toyota released a redesigned and much larger Camry. The automaker also released a coupe version of the Camry during this time period, but discontinued this model in 1996.

Toyota followed with an all-new, redesigned Camry model in 2002, and this also marked the beginning of a long string of consecutive years where Camry remained as the best-selling car in America.

Toyota released a totally new look Camry in 2007 moving away from the previous, rounded body style to a more angular form, featuring distinctive lines and curves. The Camry continues its best-selling tradition into the present day and shows no signs of a slowdown in sales momentum.
