A moonroof with sliding sunshade is standard on all trims, as is a chrome grille. The Limited and Platinum trims also have chrome outside mirrors and door handles as well as a power liftgate with jam protection. Wheels get a boost on the upper trims, too - 18-inch alloy wheels is standard on the SR5, while the two top-tier trims come equipped with 20-inch wheels of increasing quality. 20-inch sport alloy wheels are available as a package upgrade to the SR5, however.
The 2012 Toyota Sequoia easily seats eight people, but the Platinum comes with two captain's chairs for the second row instead of the standard bench, decreasing its capacity to seven. If that layout is better suited to your lifestyle, the SR5 and Limited can be upgraded to include the captain's chairs. The 2012 Toyota Sequoia boasts one-touch access to the third row, simply meaning the second row folds flat at the touch of a lever. Leather packages are available on all three trims, but come standard on Limited and above.
